According to reports, Intel is hoping that computer makers will start designing netbooks and tablets as one device. Intel’s upcoming update on their Atom chips, the Cedar Trail M Atom 32nm, will be fitting for the traditional 10-inch screens and keyboards, but could also be used by different form factors like sliders and convertibles as these chips are passively cooled.
These CPUs also need lesser space and power, so expect the Atom N2800 and N2600-based machines to become slimmer. Atom netbooks are notoriously known for its slow processing. This update should drive away all the worries netbook owners have in their hearts. Also this update includes the addition of WiDi (wireless display) and fast boot.
